Jordan draws 2-2 with South Korea in Asian Cup roundup

Ammon News - The Jordanian national football team tied with its South Korean counterpart with two goals each in the second round of the group stage of the Asian Cup held in Qatar.

The national team maintained the lead in Group E, along with South Korea, while Bahrain’s match with Malaysia will be held at a later date within the group’s competitions.

In the 9th minute, South Korea advanced over Jordan with a goal via a penalty kick scored by Heung-Min Son.

In the 37th minute, Jordan scored the equalizing goal with a header by South Korean player Park Young-woo.

The national team also scored the 2nd goal in the 45th minute, ahead of South Korea, with the foot of player Yazan Al-Naimat.

In the 90th minute, South Korea scored the equalizer against Jordan, making the score 2-2.
