Aoun Khasawneh departs for The Hague to attend ICJ's meetings against Israel

Ammon News - Former Prime Minister Aoun Khasawneh will depart to The Hague on Wednesday, to attend the meetings of the International Court of Justice related to the lawsuit filed by South Africa against the Israeli occupation under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, according to Ammon's sources.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) will begin examining the case on Thursday.

It is noteworthy that the former Prime Minister was Vice-President of the ICJ for 12 years, and participated mainly in the opinion adopted by the court in 2004 regarding the separation wall.

Aoun Khasawneh is considered an international expert in international law and a certified arbitrator in disputes between countries around the world.
