Ammon News - The UN Security Council will hold its monthly open debate at ministerial-level on Tuesday on "The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question".
The session was scheduled prior to the recent events in Gaza.
Chaired by the Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the session will see the participation of foreign ministers and ambassadors from various countries. Notably, United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has confirmed his attendance and expressed his intention to engage with counterparts and UN officials during the meeting.
Among the attendees of the Palestinian session, where the events in Gaza will be prominent, are German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, and Dutch Foreign Minister Hanke Slot.
