Hot weather to prevail until Saturday

Ammon News - It is expected that the maximum temperatures will be recorded Wednesday higher than the average for this time of the year by about (3-4) degrees Celsius, according to the Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD).

A relatively hot weather would prevail over the mountain heights and plains and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. The winds will be northwesterly moderate, sometimes brisk.

The JMD warned of the danger of direct exposure to sunlight at peak times, leaving children inside closed vehicles and not to leave sanitisers, perfumes, and flammable materials inside vehicles.

On Thursday, the weather will remain relatively hot in the mountainous heights and plains and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the Badia regions.

On Friday, the effect of the hot and slightly dry mass deepens, where a slight rise in temperatures occurs, and the weather will be hot in most regions of the Kingdom, and very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba and the Badia regions.

On Saturday, another slight rise in temperatures occurs, as the weather continues to be hot in most regions of the Kingdom, and very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba and the Badia regions.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 31 and 36 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 25 or even 19 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 44C and lows of 29C.
