Ammon News - Members of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Board of Directors and commercial sector representatives discussed with a Chinese trade delegation the private sector's role in advancing trade cooperation between Jordan and China.
The China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center's (CASTTC) delegation represents Chinese sectors of agriculture, renewable energy, medical devices, scientific research, construction materials, foodstuffs, technology, and vehicles, according to a JCC statement released Tuesday.
The meeting tackled significant technological developments related to those sectors and prospects for China to leverage Jordan's business-friendly climate and establish renewable energy investments.
Moreover, cooperation in the electric vehicle and machine sector and boosting foodstuff exports to China were also discussed.
First Vice Chairman of JCC Jamal Rifai underscored marketing Jordanian products in China, as the East Asian country is Jordan's third largest commercial partner.
