Warm weather to prevail Wednesday

Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday to become 5-6 degrees higher than the seasonal average, with relatively hot weather conditions prevailing in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while it will be warm in other regions, forecasters said.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at medium and high altitudes are also forecast, with a weak chance for light showers in the eastern areas.
As we head into Thursday, the Kingdom will be affected by a humid air mass coming from the eastern Mediterranean, accompanied by active northwesterly winds, pushing mercury levels sharply down and bringing mild conditions, with clouds at various altitudes and light showers of rain in the eastern region.
On Friday, fair conditions will prevail across the country, with medium and high clouds, and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 17C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 39C, sliding to 26C at night
