Temperatures to rise 4-5 degrees above average on Tuesday

Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to be 4-5 degrees above the annual average, bringing warm weather in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Clouds at medium and high altitudes are also forecast to form with a chance for scattered showers in the eastern and southeastern areas, accompanied by thunder at times, the JMD added.
Thursday will see a significant drop in mercury levels, triggering moderate conditions nationwide, with clouds at various altitudes and a possibility of light showers in the southern region, forecasters predicted.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 15C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 36C, sliding to 23C at night.
