Ammon News - Lower House Speaker, Ahmad Safadi, on Wednesday seperately discussed with Swiss and Azeri ambassadors to Jordan, Emilija Georgieva and Eldar Salimov, bilateral relations, especially in parliamentary areas.

During the meeting with Swiss envoy, Safadi stressed the "deep-rooted" friendship between the two countries, stressing the importance of joint cooperation and coordination to serve common interests, which would contribute to achieving the region's security and stability.

For her part, Georgieva expressed her country's appreciation and support for the Hashemite Custodianship over Jerusalem's Islamic and Christian holy sites, lauding Jordan's role to enhance the region's security and stability.

At the meeting with Azeri ambassador, Safadi said Jordan is looking forward to increasing joint cooperation horizons, which would contribute to achieving common interests in various fields.

Meanwhile, Salimov expressed his country's aspiration to enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom, adding that Azerbaijan "highly" appreciates Jordan's role in enhancing regional security and stability.
