Ammon News - The Ministry of Health has announced, on Tuesday, the start of administering the subsidized dose of the bivalent COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer–BioNTech under the name "Bivalent " in the Ministry's vaccination centers in all governorates of the Kingdom.

The ministry's undersecretary for primary health care and epidemiology, Raed Shboul, said about the arrival of 100,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

In a Facebook post on the ministry's official page, Shboul indicated that the ministry received the shipment of vaccines as a donation from the French government to contribute to the national campaign to vaccinate against Corona.

He added that the World Health Organization (WHO) recently recommended the need to take the subsidized dose as a high priority for the elderly and young people who suffer from chronic diseases and people who suffer from immunocompromised diseases.
