Royal Tank Museum clarifies about filming 'competition program' inside it

Ammon News - The Royal Tank Museum explained what was raised on social media after broadcasting competition program posted a photo inside it, with the participation of social media influencers, stressing that the aim was to address the new generation in a language they understood.
In a statement to Ammon, the museum said that a production company used the museum's location after obtaining official approval after submitting a request to the museum's administration.
The source added that the aim is to attract the youth and the new generation to the museum.
The program did not use any Jordanian tanks or even military uniforms, and the claim of harming the reputation of the Jordanian armed forces and the legacy of the martyrs and fighters, was incorrect because no Jordanian vehicles were used, according to the source.
The source reveled also that the museum includes 4 halls that contain tanks and international mechanisms, some of which date back to World War II and the hall from World War II was used during the program's filming, and the military uniforms worn were from that period.
