Awqaf Minister announces details of Hajj arrangements

Ammon News - Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Mohammad Khalayleh, said that the share of Jordanians from the Hajj season for the current year (1444 AH / 2023 AD) reaches 8,000 pilgrims.

Khalayleh will announce in a press conference the lists of pilgrims who were selected for the Hajj season, who registered a preliminary registration.

He pointed out that "the distance of hotels has been moved to 2 kilometers from the Grand Mosque in Mecca, with an emphasis on securing transportation and 5-star hotel services."

Khalayleh explained that the ministry started early to prepare for the Hajj season this year, in coordination with the Saudi side, pointing out that 30,000 people registered to perform Hajj for the current year.
