Relatively cold, spring-like weather to prevail Wednesday

Ammon News - Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be around the annual average, with spring-like weather conditions prevailing in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to form with northwesterly moderate to active winds, the JMD said.
Similar weather conditions will persist on Thursday despite a slight rise in mercury levels, with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly light winds, the JMD added.
A further increase in temperatures is expected on Friday, with dusty weather and fair conditions in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be warm in other regions, the department noted.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 9C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, sliding to 17C at aa night.
