Ammon News - Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise 5-6 degrees above their annual average, bringing sunny and relatively cold weather conditions in the highlands and the plains, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
On Tuesday, a slight drop in mercury levels is forecast, triggering relatively cold weather in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba where it will be fair, with clouds at low altitudes in the northern and central regions, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will persist on Wednesday despite a slight increase in temperatures, the JMD predicted.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 20 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, sliding to 12C at night.
