Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to be around their seasonal average, with cold weather prevailing in most parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes, and winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate.
The weather department warned of poor horizontal visibility over the highlands and parts of the Badia due to heavy fog, and frost formed during the early morning hours over the southern high peaks.
Cold weather will persist on Friday with a drop in mercury levels, while Saturday will see cloudy skies and scattered showers in the northern region.
Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low of 3C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 20C, sliding to 10C at night.
