One arrested in armed gas station robbery

Ammon News - Two people carried out an armed robbery at a gas station in western Al-Balqa Governorate, according to a security source.
The source told Ammon that the two people took 1,700 dinars from the station worker.
A video revealed the attack on the station worker, hitting him with a stick and pointing a firearm in his face, then robbing the money, after he supplied their vehicle with fuel.
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a report was received by the Criminal Investigation Department that two unknown persons had entered a gas station, and while the worker was filling up the vehicle, one of them assaulted the station worker with blunt tools (a stick), and the other threatened him with a firearm and robbed 1,700 dinars from him.
The media spokesperson confirmed that the person was located, raided and arrested.
He indicated that he confessed to committing the crime in association with another person “the search is still underway for him”, and part of the stolen money was seized from his possession, and investigations are still ongoing.
