The Cabinet extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the officers who, it said, "fell in the line of duty while confronting murderers, criminals, saboteurs, and adherents of Takfiri ideology". The Cabinet vowed that there will be no tolerance for those who violate security, assault security personnel or public or private property, or take advantage of any situation to create disorder and intimidate the general public.
