Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan revealed, during the Cabinet session in Irbid Governorate, Tuesday, the government's priorities for the governorate.
The priority for Irbid Governorate is to complete the delayed projects, enhance the industrial, agricultural and tourism sectors, and attract the much-needed investments to create the required job opportunities, he said.
The Primer Minister stressed that the vision of economic modernization cannot succeed without achieving development in the governorates, strengthening productive sectors, empowering citizens in cities, villages and deserts, and raising the level of public services therein.
The Cabinet on Tuesday held its second session in the governorates, in Irbid Governorate, in the presence of representatives of the elected councils there.
It held its first session in the governorates last month in Karak.
Hassan visited the new Princess Basma Hospital project, and stressed the need to complete it by the end of this year, start trial operation in the first quarter of next year, and receive citizens in the last quarter of 2025, thus achieving a basic requirement for Irbid Governorate and a major project in the health sector.
