UJ ranks 21st in Arab University Rankings

Ammon News - The UJ advanced in the Times Higher Education (THE) Classification of Arab universities, ranking first locally, with 21 Arabs out of 14 Jordanian universities and 169 Arab universities participating in this classification, and it got a five-star rating (Excellent) issued by the British “QS” institution.
On behalf of the University president, Dr. Enaam Khalaf, vice president for Accreditation and Quality Assurance Affairs, and Dr. Masour Matarneh, Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, attended the annual Times Summit, “Transformation in Learning for a Sustainable Future,” which concluded today in Kuwait, during which the classification result was announced.
In this regard, Matarneh explained that the UJ was distinguished in Arab University Rankings scale from its local counterparts in the standards of education and scientific research, while at the Arab level, it ranked 8th in the education standard and the 13 in the field of scientific research.
It is noteworthy that the UJ, after steadfastness in its ranking for three years, advanced in the recently released Times World Ranking and was in the category 601-800.
