Ammon News - Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday evening visited the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV) and met with its Chairman / Minister of Government Communications, Faisal Shboul, and Director General, Ibrahim Bawarid, and heads of departments.

The Prime Minister emphasized JRTV's important role in conveying Jordan's civilized image and expressing its achievements in all fields, expressing his appreciation for efforts of JRTV personnel and the governments continuous plans to enhance these efforts, in order to serve the national media discourse and consolidate JRTV's achievements that throughout its prestigious history.

Khasawneh also underlined the JRTV and the national media's role in supporting the comprehensive modernization project that Jordan is implementing under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, urging the JRTV's cadres to exert more efforts to enable it to continue its role in promoting all issues of concern to the country and citizens.

The Premier was briefed on the JRTV's plans to develop performance and enhance its role and presence in all issues related to local affairs.
