Ammon News - Dar Al-Handasah Resident Manager Dr. Tharwat Masalha, confirmed that the company, which was established by a Jordanian, was the one who designed Al-Bayt Stadium in the State of Qatar, which witnessed the opening of the World Cup on Sunday.

Masalha said that the social media platforms witnessed a dispute over whether the design company is Jordanian or not. The company is proud that its origin is a Jordanian engineer and has reached the world level, and it includes large numbers of Jordanian engineers in its cadres.

He added that the two parties to the dispute said it correctly, as it is a company that was established in Jordan and reached the world, explaining that the implementation was a contractor, and the supervision was with another company.

As for the German engineer whose name circulated on social media as the one who designed the stadium, Masalha said that he is an engineer who died several years ago, and he may be part of other companies that worked on implementation or supervision.
