Ammon News - Senate President, Faisal Fayez called on working to find "true" solutions to the pan -Arab "unfortunate" conditions and crystallizing a unified Arab position to assume a role in deciding the region's future.

In a speech delivered on his behalf by former Minister Mohammad Dawoudia at 2nd for Arab students studying in Jordanian universities on Thursday, Fayez expressed pride in the Arab youth to make progress towards a "brighter and more stable future."

The Middle East region is now an arena for global and regional conflicts, while the Arab nation is battling a "bitter and dire" reality, reflected in failure to launch a pan-Arab union-driven project, Fayez pointed out.

On their role, Fayez called on Arab youth to respond "quickly and seriously" to address pan-Arab division, by finding a path for joint economic development aimed to launch a "true" economic bloc away from political calculations.

In addition, he said Arab youth have the responsibility to counter sectarian rhetoric and promote values aimed to revive Palestinian cause, as the first Arab issue.

Locally, he said "Jordan is a peace-loving country that believes in pan-Arab unity and rejects violence," referring to the Kingdom's sacrifices in Palestine's Jerusalem and Golan Heights in defense of the Arab nation's just causes.

He also noted Jordan's role to host Arab refugees seeking security and a decent, safe life.
