Khasawneh toured the hospital's wards, accompanied by Ministers of Health, Dr. Firas Hawari, Public Works and Housing, Yahia Kisibi, and Interior, Mazen Farayah.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Khasawneh said the hospital should provide the best medical services and health care for citizens in southern Tafileh governorate.
The PM spoke to patients, visitors and medical and nursing staff and workers regarding the hospital's health services provided to the governorate's citizens.

To date, he said the hospital has performed a number of surgeries since it was fully operational at the beginning of September 2022.
These surgeries came after the ministry provided necessary medical equipment and furniture to all emergency wards, outpatient clinics, surgery halls and other departments, he noted.
Noting the ministry's plan to operate the hospital, he said the scheme included holding training courses for all hospital workers, and setting a trial and evaluation period for the operation over three phases, which began by launching emergency wards and the 17 outpatient clinics, which offer several medical specialties.
The hospital's total area is about 33,000 square meters and the cost of implementation amounted to JD34 million, while expenses paid to provide medical equipment and medical and non-medical furniture amounted to about JD11 million.
The 7-storey hospital consists 150-patient accommodation beds, 7 operating halls, a 11-bed dialysis room, two quarantine rooms, a 17-bed resuscitation and intensive care unit, a prematurity unit with a capacity of 15 expandable incubators, and an emergency ward with a 30-bed capacity, which contains digestive and respiratory units, in addition to a catheter unit and accomadation for medical staff.
