The Transport Ministry said in a press statement that the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation, Salah Lozi, was briefed by the JHRC chief on a tourism project the company is implementing in Wadi Rum, which was designed to depict Jordan's diverse tourism and geographical history. The minister said the Jordan Hejaz Railway Corporation is ready to increase the number of train trips to Wadi Rum, noting the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation's role in the tourist project, where steam trains will run trips to reflect the Kingdom's rich history and the centennial of the Great Arab Revolt. The participants agreed to step up work and coordination among all stakeholders to provide a unique Jordanian tourism product locally and internationally.
