Minister lauds Qatari group's efforts to employ Jordanians

Ammon News - Minister of Labor Nayef Istitieh has praised Qatar's Suhail Industrial Holding Group for its efforts to hire Jordanians in several Qatari industries.

The minister made the remarks Wednesday as he patronized the signing of an agreement between the group and a local Jordanian company specialized in virtual reality technologies. Through this agreement, the Qatari group hopes to invest in technology and artificial intelligence.

The minister, accompanied by the Kingdom's ambassador to Qatar Zaid Lozi, visited Suhail's headquarters to look firsthand at the group's industrial expertise.

Ziyad Eissa, CEO of Suhail, welcomed the minister, lauding the deep-rooted Jordanian-Qatari ties.

He emphasized that employment of Jordanians is a top priority for Qatar, revealing that the group plans to hire 1,000 technical engineers over the next three years.
