Disney latest animated movie Lightyear has been banned from cinemas in Jordan, Jordan Media Commission said on Tuesday.

Jordan Media Commission said the film was banned from all cinemas in Jordan starting from 13th of June because it includes a same-sex kiss between two women, according to a statement by Jordan Media Commission made available to Ammonnews.

The scenes in the film violate Media Commission content standards, the statement read.
