Rajeb Waterfall continues to carve its own way despite challenges

The Rajeb Waterfall, in Ajloun governorate some 76 kilometers north west of Amman, is a story of beauty that never ends and a destination for thousands of visitors every year.

Comprising marvelous landscapes, plants and smooth rocks, the waterfall area also has a wide spaces of fertile lands and fresh water springs that enable it to become a tourist destination for the Middle East region.

Vice President of Jordan Environment Society Yazan Friehat called for improving the infrastructure in the waterfall area and setting up ventures that contributed to achieving sustainable development in the whole governorate.

Head of Ajloun's Local Council Omar Momani said that within the council's development plan funds will be allocated for the Rajeb Waterfall in order to enable this pivotal area to receive more visitors.
