A tangible drop in temperatures, on Friday, is expected, pushing temperatures 5 to 7 Celsius degrees below their annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Pleasant weather conditions prevail countrywide for today, while relatively cold and partly cloudy weather conditions are forecast in mountainous areas.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, with a chance for light showers in northern and central parts.
The department warned of slippery roads due to the rainfall, low visibility caused by dust in Badia regions and fog formation in mountainous areas.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 8 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 29 degrees, sliding to 19 degrees at night.
