Mhaidat added that the JFDA examined the product available in the Jordanian market, noting that samples of the product were taken from another source as a precaution, and it was found that it was salmonella-free. The JFDA called on citizens to contact the administration to submit any complaints, remarks or inquiries via their 24-hour toll-free line at 117114. Citizens can also contact the administration via email at info@jfda.jo and WhatsApp 0795632000.

Director-General of the Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhaidat confirmed Friday that the Kinder Surprise egg product sold in the local markets is not imported from Belgium, and is different from the product that was withdrawn in several countries due to its possible link to salmonella.
