His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday participated in the funeral of former prime minister and former Royal Court chief Fayez Tarawneh who was laid to rest at the Royal Cemetery.

HRH Prince Feisal, Tarawneh’s relatives, senior officials also participated in the funeral after performing the funeral prayer at the Royal Guards Mosque.

Tarawneh, who passed away at dawn on Wednesday, had assumed several posts through which he served the Kingdom in various stages of its history.

Tarawneh took several ministerial posts, was as member of the Senate, and received several medals for his service.
