He added that the draft of the system will address begging via online channels, highlighting that the Penal Code in force lacks provisions related to the issue.

Ammon News - The Ministry of Social development on Monday formed a committee to review the system of charity donation fundraising of 1957, a move towards regulating the new ways of fund collection, notably online fundraising.

Minister of Social Development Ayman Mufleh emphasised the need for responding to the changes in the work environment of the charitable institutions, highlighting the necessity of “clear provisions” to regulate fundraising measures, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
