COVID-19 killed 92 in Jordan in the last 24 hours, as the death toll stands at 6,077 and a total of 9,003 cases were recorded, pushing the caseload to some 553,730 according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
Breaking down Tuesday's tally, the MoH said that 3,898 cases were recorded in Amman, 1,312 in Zarqa, 1,014 in Irbid, 645 in Balqa, 446 in Karak, 333 in Mafraq, 313 in Madaba, 242 in Ajloun, 233 in Jerash, 209 in Aqaba, 191 in Tafilah and 167 in Maan.
The MoH said in a press statement that some 367 people had recovered and were discharged from hospitals while 518 others were admitted, as the total number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals stands at 3,334.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 99,760, it added.
More than 447,880 COVID-19 patients, including patients who had been self-isolating, have fully recovered so far.
Around 19 percent of the 45,700 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
