The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday condemned "in the strongest terms the dangerous and continuous escalation" by the Houthi militia against civilian areas in Saudi Arabia after the group launched a large number of booby-trapped drones on Saudi territory.

Expressing the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi attacks, the ministry spokesman, Ambassador Dhaifallah Ali Al-Fayez, said:" These cowardly terrorist acts are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and run contrary to international efforts aimed at resolving the conflict according to the approved references to achieve security and stability and meet the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people for growth and prosperity."

Al-Fayez voiced Jordan's absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of everything threatening its security and the security of its people, stressing Jordan's firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism that target everyone.
