Jordan participates in Arab League meetings at delegate level

Ammon News - The 155th regular session of the Arab League Council kicked off Monday at the level of permanent delegates, chaired by Qatar, which took over the presidency of the session from Egypt.
Jordan will be represented in the meeting by the Kingdom's ambassador in Cairo and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Amjad Adaileh, over the span of two days preceding the meeting of the League Council at the ministerial level on Wednesday.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the draft agenda in preparation for submitting it to the council meetings at the ministerial level, which includes the Palestinian issue, latest developments in Syria, Yemen, and Libya, solidarity with Lebanon, and the navigation security and energy supplies in the Gulf region.
The agenda also includes Arab ties with international and regional groups, cooperation between the Arab League and the United Nations and other international organizations, supporting refugees in Arab countries, and the draft strategy of the Arab Network for Women Peace Mediators.
