Ammon News - INJAZ, a non-profit, Jordanian organization, has begun implementing a set of programs aimed at empowering school students in the field of life skills and entrepreneurship, through its partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to implement a project, dubbed: "Young people able to adapt to changes and are socially and economically possible" in Jordan.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, INJAZ said the project is being implemented in various fields, in partnership with a group of organizations and civil society institutions aimed to support youth and providing them with educational and job opportunities.
The project, which focuses on Syrian and Jordanian youth, seeks to provide them with better opportunities in terms of education and employment opportunities, according to the statement.
The project, which is based on three axes, of which the first works on providing life skills, training courses to youth that will enable them to engage in society and assume responsibility for leading positive change, the statement added.
The second axis provides an "integrated" approach to help young people obtain the necessary training and support to enable them to obtain jobs and become economically self-independent, while the third will examine Jordan's societal structures that limit the effective participation of young people in society and the labor market, according to the statement.
Executive Director of INJAZ Education, Mohammed Jarrah, said the organization is proud of the existing partnership with the DRC and the institutions involved in the implementation of the student empowerment project.
On INJAZ's cooperation to execute the project, Jarrah stressed the "close" partnership with the Ministry of Education, through which its programs are implemented in various schools across the Kingdom, noting that all forms of contact with students and volunteers and the program implementation stages are virtually carried out through electronic platform "injazjo.net".
