The ridge of temperatures is staying in place through the weekend, with extremely hot and dry conditions dominating in most parts of the country, along with high-altitude clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added. Temperatures in Amman today will hover around 41 degrees during daytime, sliding to 26 at evening hours, while Dead Sea, and the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sweltering 44 degrees during daytime, dropping to 30 at night.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A blazing heat wave that is currently passing through the Kingdom is expected to scorch most regions today, with temperatures marking 9 to 10 degrees above annual average, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The ridge of temperatures is staying in place through the weekend, with extremely hot and dry conditions dominating in most parts of the country, along with high-altitude clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added.

Temperatures in Amman today will hover around 41 degrees during daytime, sliding to 26 at evening hours, while Dead Sea, and the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sweltering 44 degrees during daytime, dropping to 30 at night.
