Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The National Centre for Security and Crisis Management's (NCSCM) Crisis Cell announced flights will be operated from different destinations according to the countries' respective epidemiological classification, after Minister of Health's approval is made to operate these air trips.

Under the instructions announced by the Crisis Cell, countries will be classified epidemiologically into three categories.

As for flights coming from "green" countries, the traveler is requested to spend the last 14 days before departure in the target destination, and bring a PCR test with a negative result administered within 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight date, and conduct a second test upon arrival to the Kingdom at the airport at his own expense.

Then, the returnee waits until the result is issued, and in case it is negative, he/she doesn't undergo " institutionalized" quarantine, but rather spends a weeklong period at home.

As for flights coming from "yellow" countries, the traveller is required to spend the last 14 days before departure in the target destination, and bring a PCR test with a negative result conducted within 72 hours before the scheduled trip date, and administer a second test upon arrival to the Kingdom in airport at his/her own expense.

Later, the returnee will undergo the "institutional" quarantine for a period of 3 nights/ 4 days without waiting the Covid-19 test results, and then spend a weeklong period at home.

With regard to flights from "red" countries, the traveller should bring a PCR test with a negative result conducted within 72 hours before the scheduled flight time, and administer a second test upon arrival to the Kingdom at the airport at his/her own expense.

Then, the traveler is transferred to the "institutional quarantine" for a period of 7 nights / 8 days , and a third test is conducted on the fifth or sixth quarantine day, and later he/she would be quarantined for a week at home.
