Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, announced said the lockdown that was placed on the city of Sahab (southeast Amman), will be lifted as of Tuesday at 6am.
Curfew hours in Sahab will be resumed like the rest of the Kingdom, starting from 10pm for establishments and 11pm for individuals until 6am, while all sectors, facilities and activities in the city will resume operations as they were before the lockdown, Adaileh said in a media briefing on Monday.
He pointed out that the focus will be on the implementation of Defense Order No. (8) in the coming days, and violators, who caused the transmission and spread of the Covid-19 infection intentionally or due to the lack of precaution, will be held accountable.
On the start of the school year, Adaileh called on parents of students to educate their sons and daughters of the precautionary measures, in order to contribute to the integration of awareness efforts and the protection of students in schools and at home.
The State Minister indicated that the Prime Minister will announce this week to the media and the public the launch of an integrated system based on a geographical information system, which was developed at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, in a collaborative effort with ministries, security bodies and the National Committee for Epidemics.
He underlined that the aim of this system is to enable citizens to familiarize themselves with the standards and mechanisms that will be adopted when decisions are taken to impose curfews, isolations or lockdowns.
