He said that the buildings, located in South Marka and Sahab neighbourhoods of the capital, were dealt with and sterilized according to the health protocol in place. Shehab said precautionary measures were taken as police imposed the quarantine, barring entry to and exit from the buildings and allowing epidemiological teams into the areas to take swab tests. He added that the lockdown will continue until the test results appear.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Two Amman residential buildings were placed under lockdown Tuesday after infections with the coronavirus were confirmed, according to Amman Governor Saad Shehab.

He said that the buildings, located in South Marka and Sahab neighbourhoods of the capital, were dealt with and sterilized according to the health protocol in place.

Shehab said precautionary measures were taken as police imposed the quarantine, barring entry to and exit from the buildings and allowing epidemiological teams into the areas to take swab tests. He added that the lockdown will continue until the test results appear.
