Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather is forecast Sunday and Monday across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will remain pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast with fog formation in the hilly areas and the Badia region, it added.
Temperatures are forecast to slightly rise on Tuesday becoming few degrees above their annual average, but similar weather will continue to prevail with southeasterly to southwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 14 degrees Celsius, 15 in the northern cities and 12 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 6, 8 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees and lows standing at 13, the JMD explained.
