Drop in temperatures forecast for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Sunday, creating moderate and spring weather in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Cloudy skies are also forecast today with a chance for light showers in the southern regions, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk stirring dust in the southern and eastern areas, causing low visibility, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern areas will hover around 26 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 19 and 17 degrees respectively, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 36 degrees sliding down to 26 degrees at night A further in mercury levels is expected on Monday, becoming below their annual average with partly cloudy skies and a chance for rain in different areas of the country. Heavy rain accompanied with thunder and lightning are also expected at times, leading to floods in valleys and low altitude areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly brisk, blowing dust and causing low visibility, the department added.
Temperatures will continue to on Tuesday, reaching 5-7 degrees below their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be partly cloudy with scattered showers in the northern and central regions at times, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk. Clouds will gradually decrease at night as conditions starts to stabilize, the JMD further added.
