Warmer three days lie ahead

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly warm- up on Monday becoming 4-5 degrees Celsius above their seasonal average, but relatively cold weather will continue to prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Light to variable winds with frost formation after midnight and early tomorrow hours are also forecast.
Daytime temperatures expected today in the capital and the northern cities will hover around 17 degrees Celsius dropping to 5 and 6 degrees respectively, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 24 and a low of 13 at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures are also forecast to rise few degrees over the next two days, but similar cold weather will remain in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be pleasant in other parts of the Kingdom.
