Relatively cold days, freezing nights forecast over weekend

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather is expected to remain Thursday across much parts of the country with frost formation over the high lands and parts of the desert areas at night, according to the Jordan Meteorological(JMD).
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Friday, but relatively cold weather will continue in the mountainous and desert areas during daytime, changing to cold at night with clouds at various altitudes, the JMD added.
Temperatures will rise few degrees again on Saturday, becoming around their annual average but similar conditions will continue to prevail with low clouds in the northern areas of the country.
Temperatures for today will hover around 14 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities, dropping at night to 9 and 8 degrees respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 26 degrees and a low of 16, the JMD said.
