Home Jordan News Pleasant weather forecast 14-02-2016 03:11 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather on Sunday is forecast to be mild in the hilly areas, relatively hot in the Badia and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with high clouds and northwesterly to northeasterly moderate winds. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) cold weather will prevail Sunday night in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively cold in Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday becoming 5-7 degrees above their annual average ; therefore it will be fair in the highlands and warm in other areas of the country with medium clouds and northeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added. Maximum temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 21 degrees Celsius and a low of 8 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 27 degrees plunging to 13 at night .
