Cold, partly cloudy weather forecast

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom on Wednesday remains under the impact of the cold wet air mass; therefore it will be relatively cold and paltry cloudy with a scattered showers, mainly in southern and easterly parts of the country.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), cold and partly cloudy weather is expected at night with a chance of drizzle, while winds will be southwesterly moderate.
Relatively cold weather will continue to prevail on Thursday in most regions, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at various altitudes, the JMD added in its daily brief.
A rise in temperatures is expected on Friday to become above their annual average, but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas, mild in the desert areas and plains, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba and the Dead Sea. Winds will be southeasterly moderate.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night, in the central regions they will register a high of 10 degrees dropping down to 6 degree, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 20 degrees plunging to 10 degrees.
