Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrived in Amman on Wednesday on a two-day official visit, during which he will meet with His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Mahlab will also co-chair with Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee, which will focus on aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
Upon arrival at the Marka Military Airport, the Egyptian premier was accorded an official welcome led by Prime Minister Ensour.
The Egyptian prime minister was also received by the ministers of agriculture, planning and international cooperation, labor, and energy and mineral resources, the state minister for media affairs and acting foreign minister, industry and trade, and Jordan's ambassador to Egypt.
Mahlab is accompanied by the ministers of industry, petroleum, labor, electricity and renewable energy, international cooperation, and transport and the Egyptian ambassador to Jordan.
