State prestige comes by asserting the rule of law: Minister

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister Salmah Hammad stressed the need to promote Governors' role in order to enable them to better perform their duties, as they represent the highest executive authority in their areas.
Hammad's remarks came as he presided, Saturday, over a meeting at the interior ministry in the presence of a number of its directors.
He emphasized that relationship with citizens and NGOs should be enhanced to achieve a better sense of justice and equality.
He said that state prestige comes only by asserting the rule of law, in addition to enroot the state of institutions and secure citizens' interests in line with His Majesty's vision.
Hammad said that governors have a developmental role, and plans should be put in place in this regard to meet people's needs and enhance their role in decision making.
