Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister Salamah Hammad, said Wednesday that securing the interests of the homeland and its citizens is the ultimate aim of the ministry, security and executive authorities.

He said collaborative efforts to ensure the highest degree of security and police coordination will contribute significantly to overcome the challenges the Kingdom is faced with.

The newly appointed minister made these remarks when he received Civil Defense Director, Lt. General Talal Koufahi, Acting Director General of Public Security Major General Mahmoud Abu Jumaa and Acting Gendarmerie Director Brigadier Atif Hajaya.

Also, he praised the high level of professionalism enjoyed by the security services and their ability to deal with internal security challenges, securing the borders, reducing crime and their rapid response to meeting people’s needs.
