King condemns Kenya University attack

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Saturday, condemned, as "a terrorist and cowardly" attack the storming by gunmen of the Garissa University in Kenya that took about 150 innocent lives and wounded dozens.

The King called Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, to express his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims. He also reiterated Jordan's solidarity with Kenya and its friendly people in facing such heinous terrorist crimes that threaten the security and stability of the region and the world.

During the phone conversation, the two leaders discussed the current regional and international developments, especially efforts to address the threat of terrorism.
