Majali met with officials at the crossing point and listened to a briefing about the latest developments there, before inspecting the Jordanian-Syrian Free Zone, which had been looted. The minister asked the free zone officials to provide him with data about the looted items to calculate the volume of losses. While at the borders, a number of Jordanian trucks that were stuck outside the borders were allowed entry into the Kingdom. The interior minister also inspected the security measures that have been stepped up at the borders, while affirming that the border crossing would remain closed until security is restored.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Interior Hussein Al Majali inspected the Jordan-Syrian Jabir border crossing Friday to follow up on the latest developments there after the Syrian opposition took control of the Syrian side.

Majali met with officials at the crossing point and listened to a briefing about the latest developments there, before inspecting the Jordanian-Syrian Free Zone, which had been looted.
