Japan thanks Jordan over hostage issue

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, the Regent, on Tuesday received Japan's Deputy Foreign Minister, Yasuhide Nakayama, who expressed his government’s gratitude for the Jordanian efforts over the crisis of the Japanese citizen Kenji Got, who was recently beheaded by the IS, (Daesh).

Prince Faisal reiterated Jordan's condemnation of the terrorist act, which contravenes all values of monotheistic religions and all international conventions.

The Regent and the Japanese official also spoke about the need to strengthen bilateral ties in various areas and the importance of intensifying international endeavors to combat terrorism and extremism.

Nakayama voiced pride over the historical friendship between the two governments and peoples and royal families of both countries.
